Our Mission

To promote active living, community building and healthy families by establishing, administering and maintaining multi-use recreation facilities (public amenities), facilitating and delivering sport, leisure and family programming as well as providing other activities beneficial to the community.

Active Communities Alberta is committed to having a positive impact on the lives of Albertans from all walks of life. This will be accomplished through inclusive facilities open to the general public that offer various types of programming for citizens representing a wide range of demographic characteristics.
